IT That Understands Manufacturing

Most IT providers have never set foot on a production floor. Industrial5 has run plant IT day in and day out for years — thousands of resolved tickets across servers, networks, backups, surveillance, phones, and the production systems that can't go down when the furnaces are hot. We know what a missed backup costs when certs are due, and we know which network closet sits next to the quench tank.

Custom Software & Process-Wide Data Systems

Our flagship software work is a custom production-tracking and certification platform we designed, built, and continuously maintain for a commercial heat treating operation — managing order tracking, PPAP holds, process documentation, label printing, and customer reporting across the plant. When off-the-shelf MES is too heavy and spreadsheets are too fragile, we build the system that fits your process, then stand behind it with ongoing development and support. Beyond individual applications, we manage industrial and process-wide data systems end to end — the databases, integrations, reporting pipelines, and historians that turn plant activity into usable operational records.

We also build targeted automation: environmental compliance report automation for a metals producer, automated user-account lifecycle controls, and production dashboards that surface what supervisors actually need to see.

Managed Industrial IT

We support, improve, and repair the full plant technology stack — Windows servers and domain services, switching and wireless networks, workstation and endpoint management, email and productivity platforms, printers and label printers, VoIP phone systems, and the day-to-day helpdesk that keeps your people working.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

Production data, quality records, and certifications are unrecoverable losses if backups quietly fail. We design, monitor, and routinely verify backup and recovery systems so that hardware failure, ransomware, or human error becomes an inconvenience instead of a crisis.

Plant Surveillance and Physical Security

We deploy and maintain UniFi-based camera and surveillance systems across production areas, loading docks, and exterior grounds — integrated with your network, retained to your policy, and accessible to the people who need eyes on the floor.

Controls Connectivity and Legacy Migration

Where plant IT meets operational technology, we bridge the gap: connecting legacy control equipment and PLCs to modern networks, implementing data acquisition from production equipment, and managing migrations from aging systems without interrupting production — with cybersecurity and OT segmentation considered from the start.
